Estate grown. German-style grape with Gewürztraminer parentage generates a spicy, crisp wine that's perfect for Asian fare, sausages, duck and other rich food. This estate grown wine offers a floral bouquet and light herbal and spice flavors with citrus undertones. The 2006 Traminette is finished dry and was harvested earlier than previous years for higher acid balance.
The 2006 Estate Traminette took medals in the 2007 NC State Fair as well as the prestigious Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. Medals were awarded to the Grove 2005 Traminette at the 2006 NC State Fair and the 2006 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
