Bike Tour

Join us on Saturday May 30^th, 2009 for the Gears & Cheers bike ride. Routes of 40 and 25 miles are available. The ride starts at Grove Winery and features historic Chinqua Penn Plantation on the 40 mile route.

Onsite registration fee in $45. Onsite registration and check-in is between 7am and 9am. Check-in is also available 5pm-8pm the day before the ride at Trek Bicycle of Raleigh or cycles de ORO of Greensboro. The ride starts at 9am. Registration fee includes:

Ride benefits National MS Society. We'll also be featuring live music from 12pm-3pm. Participants and non-participants are all encouraged to join us on the patio for music and celebration.

There are some road closures scheduled around Elon and Greensboro for the day of the ride. So rather than follow GPS directions, you can get updated, detailed driving directions by clicking on Directions here on the Grove website.

Grove Winery encourages responsible cycling. Please don’t ride or drive while under the influence of alcohol. Helmets and waiver of liability are required the day of the event. Registration fees are non-refundable. In case of inclement weather, we reserve the right to cancel for safety reasons, but winery will be open and lunches, beverages and event glass will still be distributed.
